You can use Belvedere to define rules based on which it will automatically move(/copy/del,etc) your files . You can actually think of Belvedere as the cleaner for your digital home!

Read more about Belvedere here and download it from here Sample Belvedere Setup I use Belvedere to sort the huge no. of files that keep up piling in my downloads folder.I have created separate sub-folders within my downloads folder to keep different kinds of content.(Eg:Music,Videos,Documents,etc.) Based on the rules i have set , Belvedere automatically moves stuff like music and movies into their separate folders .This stops my downloads folder from looking like a Trash can and also allows me files based on their type For Eg. Pictured below is the rule which automatically moves all my videos to a sub-folder within my downloads folder.
