Kindle experience

Just put down the Kindle after reading The Great Gatsby. First book i’ve read completely on a Kindle. Enjoyed reading and didn’t find the experience lacking in any way . I tend to visualize the stuff i read, so as long as the words are clear i don’t mind where/how they appear (and obviously reading on a Kindle is much more convenient than reading on PC) . So compared to books, i would be pretty sold on the Kindle because i can so many books around and read anytime anywhere. I’ve tried reading on my phone too (Samsung Galaxy S3) and the experience is incomparable . First no notifications/phone calls to disturb/distract you means you can read in pure peace. Secondly, the Kindle is incredibly light with a bigger screen size, reading is much more convenient.

People who love the smell of books might be put off by the plastic nature of the device but i had a total blast carrying 50 books in my bag. Reading PDF’s might not be that convenient because you can really adjust the type size (okay font size). But i just converted some of my PDFs to the .mobi and the life is all beautiful again.
