We evolved to eat, sleep, procreate, and die; and in doing so propagate the species. That’s it, that’s our calling. All layers of civilisation that rest above this are extremely recent and haven’t become part of us yet (us = biology/hardware). They all operate at the software level. So, all of it is LARPing. We LARP as civilised humans - even though we are naturally violent, horny and crazy. The civilised humans LARP as doctor, priests, engineers, dancers, musicians, etc . All types invented when we went beyond survival.
