Wanted to host my own content on the dalanm.com, a bit of googling led me find HelioHost, x10 and ServersFree as good free web hosts. Teething troubles and other small issues led me to finally use ServersFree. While i build the rest of the site, i needed put some placeholder landing page, used this pretty neat one which i found here. Flash based based so it will it keep the Apple using hipsters away; but it has a HTML based fallback in any case. Watch this space!
