  19. Publish that periodical And now for some context. Putting out the _why’_s of each of these things because that makes for a better how. (1) Stems from a strong personal realization of trying to be nice to everyone and ending up making commitments i don’t follow up upon. Finite creature with finite energy and time can only do so finite things, so to preempt disappointments, i’m going to strive to say NO the first time around. (2) To fund my Ferrari  (3) Because YOLO and i’d rather live longer and healthier. (4) I completed a novice triathlon on Oct 14,2012 - http://on.fb.me/1a0WD1Y.  It’s been a year and two months since that day and i’ve only gotten fatter and slower. Time to fix that in the ultimate test of fitness: the triathlon . Plus, this goal actually represents me slogging it out in the gym and adopting a more active lifestyle in general.

(5) In the same vein as above - Get fitter, i love running around anyway. (6) I love computers and building things. Tech jobs are also amongst the most well paying in the world. I’ve been OK at programming but haven’t ramped my skills due to sheer laziness, this is an effort to change that . I’m a bloody geek anyway.

(7) Same vein as (6), got skills will apply. And there’a no better proof of something being useful than if someone parts with their money for it. TL;DR: Ferrari (8) I used to devour newspapers as a kid but this habit just somehow died. Sadly my main source of new information is online feeds like facebook and twitter along with some blogs which i subscribe to . Not a healthy diet of information to feed your brain on and one which has left me lagging behind about what’s happening in the world.

(9) & (10) are very nearby and stem from a desire to balance consumption with creation. It’s not just good enough to read and stay updated, but better to research well, develop a deeper understanding of issues and present it. 2014 let’s do this!
