I ended up doing something mildly not nice to someone, so I thought I’ll apologise. However, I realised
- I was made to do the not so nice thing, it’s only partially my fault
- The not so nice thing might happen again In light of the above, I’ve decided not to apologise because repeating the offence after apologising will make my apology seem meaningless and make me look insincere. I think it’s horrible to be so strategic in dealing with people but this seems like a more logical way to go about the situation. So dear X, Sorry; you’re not getting that sorry :P
