Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos changes name to Jeff Bansal

In a bid to win the e-commerce battle in India, Amazon top boss Jeff Bezos unveiled his latest stratagem at Amazon HQ, Seattle on Thursday. Coming fresh off the heels of his recent visit and $2 Billion investment into Amazon India, Jeff Bezos has decided to rename himself to Jeff Bansal.  When asked why he chose the surname “Bansal”, he said that this was based on competitor intelligence provided by consulting firm McKundli, which said that contrary to popular belief, it is not things like cash-on-delivery or jaw-dropping discounts that are the driving force behind the ecommerce boom in India but rather the Bansal surname which is the crucial factor in e-commerce success stories in India.
From Flipkart (Sachin and Binny Bansal) to Snapdeal (Rohit Bansal) to Myntra (Mukesh Bansal) to Lenskart (Peyush Bansal), the Indian commerce scene is dominated by Bansals. By changing his name to Jeff Bansal, the Amazon CEO plans to go all in for Indian ecomm battle and show indian companies how things are really done.
